CONTEXTServing as an entry point for journalists and partners, the Festival Images Vevey presskits are designed to offer a comprehensive yet accessible overview of the biennale — both in terms of programme content and artistic positioning.

EDITORIAL APPROACHWe developed a clear and structured editorial layout that balances information and visual rhythm. Each featured project is introduced with a concise text and a carefully selected image, allowing for quick understanding and visual appeal. The design supports intuitive navigation through the festival’s diverse offerings while maintaining a strong visual identity.

To reflect the festival’s international scope and commitment to accessibility, the presskits were produced in three languages — French, German, and English.

IMPACTThe multilingual presskits became a key communication tool for media professionals, streamlining press coverage and reinforcing the festival’s positioning as a major cultural event on the European photography scene.

Pocket Art Mediator

CONTEXTFestival Images Vevey is Switzerland’s leading visual arts biennale, transforming the city into an open-air museum with large-scale installations, indoor exhibitions, and unexpected venues. With tens of thousands of visitors over three weeks, the event strives to make contemporary photography accessible to all audiences.

CONCEPTAs part of the festival’s inclusive approach to visual culture, we designed a tactile, pocket-sized art mediation tool to help visitors engage more deeply with the works on display — regardless of their background in photography or art history.

The result was a set of double-sided cards, mixing educational content and playful prompts. Some introduced core principles of image composition and analysis, while others acted as creative mini-challenges, encouraging visitors to look differently, interact, and even create their own images using their smartphones.

IMPACTThe “Pocket Art Mediator” became a discreet yet powerful tool for democratizing the viewing experience, fostering dialogue and creativity among audiences of all ages — from casual passersby to photography enthusiasts
