Context
AutoScout24, Switzerland’s leading online car marketplace, launched “The Night” — a flagship event designed to celebrate its top-performing sellers across various categories. The ambition: create a premium experience that reflects the brand’s stature while standing apart from its usual communication style.

Creative Direction & Execution
We developed the complete visual identity for the event, from physical design to motion assets. Central to the concept was the symbolic shape of the wheel — a universal emblem of movement and performance for the automotive industry. This shape became the foundation of the identity system.

The wheel was translated into sculptural trophies and animated in 3D to punctuate key moments of the event, adding rhythm and visual continuity to the awards ceremony. We also designed the master keynote presentation, on-site signage, and a photowall, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across the experience.

To create contrast with AutoScout24’s traditionally bright and minimal brand language, we adopted a deep black backdrop for all visuals. This bold shift introduced a celebratory atmosphere while maintaining brand recognition through subtle visual cues.

Impact
“The Night” delivered a distinctive and elevated experience that reinforced AutoScout24’s leadership in the industry. The black-and-wheel-driven identity distinguished the event from the brand’s day-to-day communications, positioning it as a premium and memorable occasion.
